Jaqueline (26)

Jacqueline reorganized her life after a difficult relationship. Ongoing divorce proceedings are still very expensive, but she is happy with her life. Her lively sons Samuel, 5, and Uriel, 3, go to a day care centre so that she has time to make her jewellery. Her life is beginning to look better and the future looks bright.

Angeles (55)

Angeles has three children: Omar, Claudia and Marisol. At weekends, the grownups help Angeles to make her jewellery. Even Omar, the only man in the family helps his mother by threading necklaces. Angeles has set herself the goal that all her children will go to university, so they can lead a good life. Omar is already working and Claudia graduated recently. Marisol still has a few years to go.

Teo (41)

Teo comes from San Jose Coral Blanco, a small village about six hours drive from Mexico City. She is saving up money to build a house in her home village, and her dream is to move back there and live in the home of her dreams with her son and his family.

Claudia (22)

Claudia has made Ilo jewellery  with her mother Angeles for a few years now to earn money for her studies. Claudia studied international trade and did her final thesis for Tamarindo. She graduated recently with excellent grades. Claudia’s dream is to have a job in logistics.
